Post Installation
App stores
- Prioritize Obtainium. Many app configurations for Obtainium can be obtained here, and for apps that aren't in here, it is most of the time as easy as copying the Github/Gitlab/Codeberg link to the app's repository and adding it in Obtainium.
- Use the Graphene native store to install the Play Store might you need it, and also to keep Graphene apps up to date.
- Accrescent has some cool stuff like AppVerifier, Molly, IronFox, etc. You can get it from the Graphene app store.
- F-Droid is also an option but I don't use it (until Schildichat forced it onto me). It has some flaws, which aren't that bad, but they exist.
- As a last resort, there is the Play Store. Note that in Graphene land, the Play Store app has as much access to the system as any other app, which is not a lot. Read more here: Sandboxed Google Play
Auditor
Graphene has a way to remotely verify the integrity of the system. You need to create an account on attestation.app, then on your phone, open the Auditor app, click on the hamburger menu in the top-right, select "Enable remote verification" and follow the instructions. This will enable automatic verification of the system every 4 hours, and will send an email if the phone can't be verified for 32 consecutive hours.
